Selected Marketing Work

Selected work

Selected marketing work.
A closer look.

This selected marketing work brings together several years of dealership marketing, ecommerce content, and support for service businesses. I connect the everyday details with the bigger business picture.

The dealership, ecommerce, and service business examples reflect current clients and are kept anonymous. My work also includes longstanding relationships with community events.

01 / Dealership

One marketing partner.
Many moving pieces.

Over several years, I managed a dealership’s marketing across its website, advertising, email, social media, and creative. The work ranged from promoting individual products to helping the business understand where inquiries were coming from.

  • Website and search: Product descriptions, search friendly content, website updates, and clearer paths to inquire.
  • Paid advertising: Google campaigns, product advertising, Facebook campaigns, and retargeting, with ongoing reviews of budgets, searches, and messaging.
  • Content and communication: Constant Contact emails, social posts, product videos, customer stories, flyers, and promotional creative.
  • Measurement: Website events, inquiry tracking, and lead source reviews to connect marketing activity with customer interest.

Keeping it connected

The value was having someone who knew the business and could carry the same priorities through its website, ads, emails, and daily updates.

02 / Ecommerce

Help people find it.
Make it easier to shop.

For an ecommerce business, I help connect search visibility, useful shopping information, and customer communication. The focus is making the website more helpful while giving people reasons to visit and return.

  • SEO and website content: Service area pages, product titles and descriptions, delivery information, and answers to common customer questions.
  • A clearer shopping journey: Relevant product images, category links, featured products, and useful links between related pages.
  • Email marketing: Campaigns built around products, occasions, and timely business priorities.
  • Facebook advertising: Creative and campaign messaging that connect the offer with the relevant shopping page.

Useful details matter

Customers should be able to understand what is available, where the business serves, and how to order without having to search for basic information.

03 / Service business

The work does not stop
when a lead comes in.

WebsiteGoogle AdsFacebook AdsLead trackingBusiness support

For a service business, my work included website improvements, Google Ads, Facebook advertising, and tracking customer inquiries. Looking beyond clicks helped us understand what happened after those inquiries reached the business.

  • Website and campaigns: Clear service pages, contact options, relevant advertising, and Facebook retargeting.
  • Lead tracking: Reviewed calls, forms, advertising sources, and available customer records.
  • Sales follow through: Compared incoming opportunities with recorded follow up and sales outcomes to identify where the process needed attention.

What we learned

The issue was not simply a need for more leads. Our review highlighted gaps in follow up and in turning inquiries into customers. The business asked me to become more involved so I could help connect the marketing with what happened inside the business.

That meant a broader conversation about how inquiries were handled and where support was needed, alongside the advertising work.

04 / Events & community

A relationship built over years.

EventsCommunityLongstanding support

I’ve worked with Hudsonville Community Fair for years. It is another part of my experience beyond dealerships, ecommerce, and service businesses.

Working with a community event means understanding the people behind it, the audience it serves, and the priorities that return each season. That familiarity gives the work context beyond a single promotion.

Local experience, lasting relationships

This relationship reflects the way I like to work: learn the organization, understand what matters, and stay involved as its needs evolve.

Ongoing partnerships

Marketing work built
on knowing the business.

All three businesses remain current clients. Our work continues as their priorities change, from regular website and campaign updates to a closer look at the customer journey.

Measurement helps guide those conversations. Tools such as Google Analytics key events help distinguish meaningful website actions from general traffic. The next step is to understand those actions in the context of the business.
